Testimonials
What artists, producers and writers have said about Tessa Niles.
“I can neither confirm nor deny that I've contemplated sleeping with Tessa Niles' talent on several occasions.”
“Tessa Niles has done what so many fans only dreamed of: sing with the stars. Throughout Backtrack I was enchanted, delighted and moved to hear her vivid true story of the backing singer extraordinaire relaying a singularly unique point of view of someone who was right there when music history was made. A riveting read.”
“Tessa is the voice of her generation.”
“The most famous person you've probably never heard of.”
“Tessa Niles is the ultimate backing singer not only because she does it with grace and excellence but because her knowledge of harmony is second to none. I fall in love with voices rarely but I fell in love with hers the moment we did our first session together and have been that way ever since.”
“Tessa Niles is one of the finest singers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Together we recorded and toured extensively with the Eric Clapton Band. Those adventures alone, including the making of Clapton's iconic 'MTV Unplugged' album make Backtrack a compelling read. Get ready to hear the amazing stories behind the voice behind the stars, brilliantly told by Tessa.”
